ANA WHO?
I'm Ana Beij (pronounced as 'beige'), a Brazilian artist, retreat host, and storyteller.
I’m endlessly curious about the world and the human experience. Through years of traveling, I’ve found inspiration in landscapes, traditions, and the beauty of the everyday life.
My paintings, writings, and creative experiences are invitations to slow down, look closer, and reconnect with the world around us and with ourselves.
My journey
I don’t see myself only as an artist. I see myself as a collector of moments, places, and stories; transforming what I experience into paintings, writing, and experiences that invite others to see the world and themselves with fresh eyes.
My philosophy
NOTICE
Beauty begins with the way we see.
When we learn to notice the beauty around us, we’re reflecting something we’ve cultivated within ourselves. I believe that the more we nurture our inner world, the more beauty we discover in the world outside.
PRESENCE
Life is happening here and now.
Presence is choosing to be intentional with how we spend our time. I believe the richest experiences come when we’re fully where we are.
CREATE
Creativity is our most precious human gift.
It’s a way of understanding ourselves, making meaning from our experiences, and participating in something greater than ourselves. Every act of creation is an opportunity to discover who we are, and perhaps, to glimpse the divine.
GATHER
We were never meant to go through life alone.
Some of the most meaningful moments happen when women come together to create, listen, witness one another, and share their stories. Community reminds us that we aren’t alone, and that our experiences become richer when they’re held by others.
On Creating
My work begins with place; what it gives, what it takes, and what it leaves behind.
Through art and immersive experiences, I create environments that invite you to feel more deeply, and reconnect with yourself.
From canvas to creative retreats, each offering is an extension of the same intention: to recognize that the beauty we see around us is the same beauty we carry inside.
